Disguising Ugly Scrapbook Paper

If you watched my video below, you will know that I was less than amused with one of my paper pads that I purchased on-line from Hobby Lobby.

Since I opened the package, I can't return it.  However, there are ways to disguise ugly paper.

One way is to run the paper through an embossing folder.  You can then sand off the raised areas with sand paper or a sanding block:

The "after" paper looks nicer.
